We want to thank all of our customers and friends and family for supporting our business venture over the last 18 months. We have big news! We are closing our existing shop to allow me time to focus on a new venture. I will be joining my Daughter Brittany Sudbeck as a realtor! We hope to re-open our furniture shop in the near future. Services
Strip & Refinish
We like to take in older furniture that may be banged up, cracked, or tarnished finish. We can strip off the old finish or paint. Get down to the original wood. Repair any damage and reglue any dried out joints. Stain or not according to the customer. Then lastly, spray on a lacquer finish that will stand up to daily use including ordinary household cleaners for the next generation to be able to enjoy.
Repair
We can rebuild parts like legs or skirting that has been broken from moving or over use. We also can replace small to large pieces of veneering.

Some of my earliest memories are working in my dad’s workshop in Fruitdale at 6-7 years old, pounding nails into a wood block, or trying to make a wood box. Later, as I was able, I learned carpentry techniques from my dad. Then I learned how to use my hands and basic tools to figure out what I wanted to make. I have always been intrigued with wood construction – especially furniture. How does that table stay together?! Why does my dresser drawer stick? Over the years I have learned to love furniture construction and can often be seen looking under a table at a restaurant, embarrassing the people I am with. 2022 brought many big changes – after meeting the love of my life in 2020, I realized that there was more to life than making ends meet and punching a time clock so I quit my 8-5 job of 18 years, started working for myself, and married my partner, Maryanne. Now I am blessed to do what I love for a living with a supportive, loving partner.
